A blood test for progesterone usually does not require fasting.
Progesterone is a natural progesterone hormone secreted due to the corpus luteum of the ovary, and has a significant morphological effect in the body on the estrogen-primed uterine lining, necessary to maintain pregnancy.
For women, fasting is usually not required for the Progesterone at the Prosecutor’s Office, and even eating food will not affect the results of the test. For women in the early stages of pregnancy, human chorionic gonadotropin levels can be checked, as well as the value of progesterone, in order to understand the development of the embryo.
It is recommended that women should relax, not be anxious and nervous, and just have regular checkups without special treatment.
