Dietary care for impaired visuospatial function

Impairment in recognition of various properties of objects in space caused by visual causes is called visual spatial perception impairment, or visuospatial dysfunction, and is one of the early symptoms of Alzheimer’s disease. Dietary care for impaired visuospatial function: 1. Food should be varied, and bread, fruits or vegetables and dairy products should be guaranteed at each meal when possible. 2.Meat, fish or eggs at least 1 time a day. 3.Preferred patient nutrients, especially for patients to develop special recipes. 4.Provision of home diet care should be recommended for patients living alone or with anorexia and irregular meals. 5.Fluid intake should be unrestricted. 6.Nutrient-rich foods or dietary supplements can be selected appropriately. 7.Vitamin B and folic acid deficiency is associated with Alzheimer’s disease, and attention should be paid to this aspect of supplementation. 8.Supplements containing multivitamins or trace elements are recommended.
