Infection with omikujon virus may or may not cause a fever.
The omicron variant is highly infectious, spreads more rapidly, has atypical clinical symptoms, and has the ability to evade binding of neutralizing antibodies and to evade the protective effects of the new crown vaccine.
The symptoms of omicron infection are atypical and therefore more subtle during transmission. In terms of clinical manifestations, omicronjon infections are similar to upper respiratory tract infections caused by other viruses and lack specific manifestations, which makes clinical differential diagnosis difficult and makes the spread of the virus more insidious.
Patients may be infected with omicron if they come into contact with people in moderate to high risk areas or patients with symptoms associated with new crown pneumonia, even if they do not have a fever. Therefore, nucleic acid testing is needed to rule out novel coronavirus infection even in the absence of associated symptoms.
During epidemics, it is important to take care of personal protection, wear masks when going out, keep a social distance, wash hands frequently and maintain good hygiene practices.
