White flocculent material in a child’s urine may be caused by excessive protein intake, urinary tract infection, urinary tract stones and other factors. 1. Excessive protein intake: if the child recently consumed too much protein content of food, may lead to excessive protein content in the urine, resulting in transient or temporary proteinuria, manifested as cloudy urine, white flocculent. 2. Urinary tract infection: local inflammatory stimuli may lead to increased exudation of the urinary tract mucosa, so that some bacterial secretions or necrotic bacteria mixed in the urine, which may lead to white flocculent in the urine. 3. Urinary stones: after lithotripsy treatment, there may still be smaller stones, these stones with the urine out of the body, may lead to white flocculation in the urine. If a child does not consume a lot of protein-rich foods but has white floc in the urine, he or she should seek prompt medical attention to avoid delaying the condition.
