How low blood sugar should be regulated

When hypoglycemia occurs, treatment consists of two aspects: first, relieving the symptoms of neurological sugar deficiency, and second, correcting the various underlying causes of hypoglycemia. For mild to moderate hypoglycemia, it can be relieved by taking sugar water or sugary drinks by mouth, or eating candies, cookies, bread, buns, etc. For drug hypoglycemia, the relevant drugs should be discontinued promptly. For patients with severe or suspected hypoglycemic coma, capillary blood glucose should be measured in time; even without blood glucose results, 50% glucose solution 60-100ml intravenous injection followed by 5%-10% glucose solution intravenous drip should be given in time. If necessary, hydrocortisone 100mg, or glucagon 0.5-1mg intramuscularly or intravenously can be added. Do not feed patients with delirium to avoid respiratory asphyxia.
