Can hot compresses cure cervical osteophytes?

Cervical vertebral osteophytes can cause cervical neck stiffness, localized pain and other sensations, hot compress treatment can appropriately relieve the symptoms, but can not cure the disease.
Cervical spine osteophytes is the edge of the bone and joint chronic injury caused by scar tissue hyperplasia, calcium deposition over time so as to become bone formation of hyperplasia.

Commonly used hot compresses include localized hot compresses with hot water bag, the temperature should be controlled at 38~42℃, 6~8 times a day for 30 minutes each time, or far infrared physical therapy device with the skin at a distance of 40cm, 4~6 times a day for 30 minutes each time.
