Chinese herbal prescriptions for dispelling dampness and strengthening the spleen include Ling Gui Zhu Gan Tang and Xing Yang Dampness Removing Tang. All of the above drugs need to be taken under the guidance of a doctor, and should not be taken blindly on their own to avoid adverse reactions.
1. Ling Gui Zhu Gan Tang: This formula is composed of Poria, Gui Zhi and Rhizoma Atractylodis Macrocephalae, which has the efficacy of warming yang and resolving phlegm (the pathological product formed by the impaired metabolism of water), strengthening the spleen and inducing dampness to treat phlegm and drink (the pathological product formed by the impaired metabolism of water), with symptoms such as fullness in the chest and hypochondrium (the area of the chest and the ribs), dizziness, palpitations, white and smooth tongue coating, and slippery or tight pulse.
2. Sheng Yang Dampness Removing Soup: composed of Cang Zhu, Chai Hu, Qiang Wu, Sheng Ma, Shen Qu, etc. It can treat spleen deficiency and dampness, diarrhea, inappetence, drowsiness of limbs and so on.
