A girl’s great aunt usually comes between the ages of 13 and 14, some may be as early as 11 years old, and some may be delayed until 16 years old.
The term “great aunt” actually refers to menstruation. A girl’s 1st menstrual period is called her first menstrual period. The age of first menstruation is mostly around 13 to 14 years old, some girls may be as early as 11 years old and some may delay it until 16 years old. If you do not have your period after the age of 16, you need to go to the hospital for a checkup.
The age of first menstruation for girls is also affected by many factors, such as genetics, nutrition and weight. Because of the better nutritional status of girls in recent years, there is a tendency for the age of first menstruation to be earlier.
If a girl has her first menstruation before the age of 10, this is considered precocious puberty. If a girl does not have menarche after the age of 16, it is not a normal phenomenon because there may be abnormal development of reproductive organs or chromosomal abnormality.
