Does stomach cancer cause vomiting of blood?

Stomach cancer may lead to vomiting blood. Vomiting blood is a common complication of stomach cancer. When the tumor cells in the stomach invade blood vessels, it will lead to the rupture of blood vessels, resulting in gastrointestinal bleeding, which may be manifested as vomiting blood or black stool. If the bleeding location is high, above the pylorus, or if the bleeding is large and stays in the stomach for a short period of time, bright red or dark red vomit may be vomited. If the bleeding is small and stays in the stomach for a long time, the vomit is coffee-colored or tan. Both cases belong to vomiting blood. Besides vomiting blood, stomach cancer may also have symptoms such as epigastric pain, poor appetite, fatigue, anorexia, nausea, vomiting and black stool. If stomach cancer is accompanied by vomiting blood, one should go to the hospital in time and be treated by professional doctors, avoiding self-treatment, so as to avoid delaying the diagnosis and treatment of the disease, and adverse events such as excessive blood loss, severe anemia, and progression of the original disease.
