What do stones look like?

The look of the stones is related to the composition of the stones, where they are located and other factors, as follows:
1.Classification of stone composition:
(1) Calcium oxalate stones: high density, hard stones, not easy to be crushed, and different sizes, usually brownish yellow or brown.
(2) Uric acid stones: brittle texture, white crystalline particles.
(3) Cystine stones: the surface of the stone is smooth and rounded, showing white or yellow.
2. Categorized by site:
(1) Bladder stones: generally round or ovoid, with low peripheral density and high internal density, mostly yellow or brownish-yellow.
(2) Biliary system stones: generally mixed stones, irregular morphology, including square, round, etc., its size varies, can be one or more.
