It is mainly used for treating deficiency cold bleeding, irregular menstruation, and itching of the skin.
Mugwort, also known as Ai Ye, was first published in “Famous Doctors’ Records”. The nature of this product is warm, warm can disperse cold, for warm menstruation to stop bleeding of the important medicine. This product mainly enters the liver, spleen, kidney meridian, can be used for the lower yuan deficiency cold, Chong Ren is not solid (Chong Ren two veins are weak, affecting the solid function) due to the leakage (menstrual flow or drip more than) blood, menstruation and other conditions.
Mugwort is pungent and warm, can disperse cold pain, warm the uterus to help pregnancy, can be used for menstrual disorders, dysmenorrhea, uterine cold infertility. Mugwort can also be used externally to dispel dampness, kill insects and relieve itching, used for eczema, pubic sores and so on.
The adverse reactions of wormwood are not clear. Mugwort should be used with caution for those with yin deficiency and blood heat, such as irritability and insomnia, night sweating (abnormal sweating after going to sleep, and sweating stops after waking up). Mugwort has a small toxicity. If medication is needed, it should be used under the guidance of a doctor, not blindly self-medication.
