White blisters on the glans of men may be caused by ordinary inflammation of the glans, or it may be genital herpes caused by viral infection from unclean sexual contact. This situation must be examined before using the appropriate medication, which can be clarified by collecting local glans secretions for culture, or by taking blood tests for herpes virus antibodies. If the glans is only caused by a common bacterial infection, the blisters will slowly disappear after a week or so of treatment with erythromycin ointment and fusidic acid cream applied to the glans. If the genital herpes is caused by a viral infection, you need to apply acyclovir ointment or interferon ointment for symptomatic treatment for about two weeks for the blisters to disappear. At the same time, in order to clear the virus from the body, it is also advisable to take interferon injections to maintain the treatment for more than two months. Until the symptoms are completely healed, avoid spicy and stimulating diet and refrain from sexual intercourse.
