10 Signs of Teratoma

There is no such thing as 10 signs of teratoma. Common types of teratoma are: ovarian teratoma, testicular teratoma, sacrococcygeal teratoma, etc. Teratoma location is different, the corresponding symptoms are also different, the patient may appear abdominal pain, testicular swelling, constipation, leg weakness and other symptoms. 1. Ovarian teratoma: patients may have abdominal pain, palpable mass in the abdomen, abdominal distension, dysmenorrhea, menstrual disorders, postmenopausal bleeding and other symptoms; if the tumor increases in size, causing pressure on the bladder, rectum and other parts of the bladder, there may be difficulty in urination, defecation and other symptoms. 2. Testicular teratoma: there are usually no obvious signs in the early stage of the patient’s condition, and some patients may have symptoms such as testicular swelling and localized lumps. 3. Sacrococcygeal teratoma: patients may have lumps in the outer or inner part of the coccyx, which may be accompanied by symptoms such as constipation, abdominal pain, leg weakness, and swelling in the coccygeal region. If the above symptoms occur, it may be caused by having teratoma. It is recommended to go to the hospital for examination to determine whether the patient is suffering from teratoma.
