What are the signs and symptoms of pediatric cerebral palsy?

  The symptoms of pediatric cerebral palsy are diverse, and the symptoms are also very diverse.  The common clinical manifestations of pediatric cerebral palsy are: (1) Motor dysfunction: poor motor self-control, in severe cases, the hands will not grasp things, the feet will not walk, some will not even turn over, sit up, stand up, chew and swallow normally.  (2) Postural disorders: various postural abnormalities, poor stability of posture. For example, at 3 months of age, they cannot hold their head upright, they are used to swaying to one side, or swaying back and forth from side to side. When washing hands, it is not easy to break the fist, etc.  (3) Intellectual disability: children with normal intelligence occupy about 1/4, those with mild or moderate intelligence deficiency occupy about 1/2, and those with severe intelligence deficiency occupy about 1/4. (4) Language impairment: difficulty in language expression, slurred pronunciation or stuttering and other symptoms.  (5) Visual and auditory disorders: internal strabismus and difficulty in discriminating the rhythm of sound are the most common.  (6) Dental development disorders: loose and fractured teeth, mouth and face dysfunction, spasms or uncoordinated contractions of facial and tongue muscles, difficulty in chewing and swallowing, difficulty in closing the mouth and drooling, etc.
