What is neonatal DIC

The diagnosis of DIC is the same whether it is in a newborn or an adult or a child, DIC is a disorder of diffuse intravascular coagulation dysfunction caused by various causes of bleeding and coagulation disorders of the blood. The main manifestations are bleeding and coagulation dysfunction, for example, there may be bleeding spots on the child’s body; there is also a situation where the tendency of bleeding is found during blood collection, and the blood collection pressure is unstable; some children may have different blood oozing from the umbilical cord in the early stage; some children may also have different bleeding manifestations from the oral mucosa or the gastrointestinal tract. DIC is often the end stage of a disease that is very difficult to treat, so it is important to avoid children entering DIC in the early stages.
