Difference between atorvastatin calcium tablets and atorvastatin

There is no difference between Atorvastatin Calcium and Atorvastatin Tablets, the general term Atorvastatin refers to Atorvastatin Calcium, and both belong to the same type of medicine. Atorvastatin Calcium is a prescription western medicine, mainly used for the treatment of hypercholesterolemia, mixed hyperlipidemia and coronary heart disease. It is contraindicated in women with co-morbid active liver disease, hypersensitivity to the drug, pregnancy and lactation.
