What’s wrong with babies rubbing their eyes and noses?

Baby’s eye and nose rubbing may be normal behavior. However, frequent behavior needs to be considered in relation to physiological factors such as foreign body stimulation, wanting to sleep, and allergic rhinitis, facial eczema, and so on. 1. Physiological factors: when the eyes and nose are stimulated by foreign objects and want to sleep, babies may rub their eyes and noses. 2. Allergic rhinitis: the disease is related to genetic factors, inhalation or ingestion of allergens. Sick babies may appear nose itching, paroxysmal sneezing, watery nasal discharge, nasal congestion and other symptoms, but also easy to be accompanied by eye itching, tearing, coughing and other symptoms, thus manifested as rubbing eyes, rubbing nose. 3. Facial eczema: the cause of the disease is not clear, may be related to genetic factors, immune abnormalities. When eczema on the face, may cause some babies rub eyes, rub nose, local skin may also appear erythema, edema, skin itching and other symptoms. When babies rub their eyes and noses frequently, they should be actively investigated for the cause of the condition and seek medical attention if necessary in order to help improve their comfort and quality of life.
