What is the dosage and efficacy of Erythromycin Enteric Capsules?

The efficacy of Erythromycin Enteric Capsules is for the treatment of hemolytic streptococcal infections, infections caused by Streptococcus pneumoniae, Mycoplasma, and Chlamydia. The dosage is 0.75-2g a day, and the adverse effects include gastrointestinal symptoms and hepatotoxicity. 1.Indications (1) Cellulitis and scarlet fever caused by hemolytic streptococcus. (2) Sinusitis, acute pharyngitis, acute tonsillitis caused by Streptococcus pneumoniae and hemolytic streptococcus. (3) Diphtheria patients and carriers. (4) Gas gangrene, anthrax, tetanus. (5) Actinomycosis, legionellosis. (6) Mycoplasma pneumoniae pneumonia, Chlamydia pneumoniae pneumonia. (7) other mycoplasma chlamydia caused by genitourinary infections. 2.Dosage (1) Adults: 0.75-2g a day, divided into 3-4 times. (2) Children: 20~40mg/kg per day according to body weight, divided into 3~4 times. (3) Treatment of legionnaires’ disease: 0.5~1.0g/times 4 times a day. (4) Prevention of relapse of rheumatic fever: 0.25g/time, 2 times a day. 3.Adverse reactions (1) Gastrointestinal symptoms: pain in the mouth and tongue, middle and upper abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea and so on.
