Can liver cancer cause problems with the pancreas?

Liver cancer may cause problems with the pancreas, but this is relatively rare. Patients with liver cancer usually do not have obvious symptoms in the early stage, and as the disease progresses, they will have symptoms such as abdominal pain, right upper abdominal mass, fatigue, lethargy, loss of appetite, jaundice and so on. Liver cancer may also metastasize, mainly to the lung, bone and brain, and less often to the pancreas, but this possibility cannot be ruled out. If the cancer cells metastasize to the pancreas and impair the normal function of the pancreas, it may cause symptoms such as abdominal pain, abdominal distension, persistent pain in the lower back, nausea, diarrhea and so on. Patients with liver cancer must undergo treatment in time to avoid aggravation of the condition with metastasis or serious complications.
