What happened to the adrenal medulla?

The adrenal gland is divided into cortex and medulla, so different parts of the adrenal gland have different secretory functions. Cortex accounts for 90% of the whole adrenal gland, including the globular band, fascicular band and reticular band. The medulla of the adrenal gland accounts for about 10% of the adrenal gland, which is mainly from the neural ectoderm and mainly secretes epinephrine, norepinephrine and dopamine. And the cortex mainly secretes steroid hormones, of which the globus pallidus secretes saline corticosteroid, while the zona fasciculata secretes glucocorticoids and the zona reticularis secretes androgens. Different parts of the hyperplasia, it secretes different levels of hormones, which can make a preliminary judgment of adrenal disease.
