What is the meaning of precancerous lesions

When it comes to “precancerous lesions”, many patients often lose sleep over it. So, how serious is the so-called “precancerous lesion”? Is it worth the sleepless nights? I hope that patients can have an objective view and practice on this, not to blindly pay attention to it, in the end, precancerous lesions have not changed, but people have long become no joy and happiness. According to the 2006 Chinese consensus opinion on chronic gastritis, it is generally believed that the annual cancer rate of atrophic gastritis is about O.5% to 1%. In order to reduce the occurrence of gastric cancer, to facilitate patients, and to meet the requirements of medical economics, patients with atrophic gastritis without intestinalization and heterogeneous hyperplasia can be followed up endoscopically and pathologically every 1 to 2 years; patients with atrophic gastritis with moderate to severe atrophy on biopsy or with intestinalization can be followed up every 1 year or so: those with mild heterogeneous hyperplasia and eliminated from the paracancer or obvious local lesions can be followed up according to endoscopy and clinical conditions. Patients with severe heterogeneous hyperplasia need immediate review of gastroscopy and pathology, and if necessary, surgical treatment or endoscopic local treatment. It is also believed that only a very small percentage of precancerous lesions eventually become cancerous. According to Japanese statistics, only 0.0 7% of people with intestinal chemistry develop adenocarcinoma, and the process of cancer is long, and there are no obvious signs even for those who are about to develop cancer, so there is no ability to predict when the change will occur. Therefore, it is not necessary to talk too much about cancer and exaggerate the risk of cancer, and try to avoid the burden of thought and medical symptoms. Positive explanations to the patient and reassurance for those with psychological factors are as important as medication, since the cancer rate of enterocolitis is very low. In fact, the evolution of human cells into cancer cells requires multiple factors and an evolutionary process over several generations. In the body’s tissues, only aberrations occur in the process of generating new cells, and these aberrations can be passed on to the next proliferating division of cells. The tumor cells generated by this aberration are powerfully alive, and are malignant tumor cells. This process is a complex and changeable one, involving the immunity, internal environment, external environment, psycho-physiological changes and so on of human body. Simply put, we need to pay attention to a few bad habits and a few good behavioral habits are enough.
