Clinically, there is a significant increase in the number of diabetic patients who come to the clinic after the festival due to aggravation of their condition. In addition to a significant increase in blood sugar, some even have acute complications, cardiovascular and cerebrovascular accidents that endanger their lives. Therefore, it is very necessary to strengthen self-care during the Spring Festival. 1, do not break the rule of life Do not disrupt the normal routine of life because of the holidays, especially the elderly diabetic patients, mostly accompanied by hypertension, coronary heart disease, cerebral infarction, kidney disease and other chronic underlying diseases, we should try to avoid mood swings, overwork and stay up late, do not spend a long time in the computer, television, mahjong, card table, otherwise it is easy to cause the body Yin and Yang imbalance, Qi and blood loss, meridian blockage, internal organs dysfunction In addition, the conditions for the occurrence and deterioration of the disease are created. Modern medicine believes that mood swings will make the sympathetic nerve excitement, resulting in faster heartbeat, accelerated blood flow, thereby increasing blood pressure and triggering cardiovascular disease. 2, diet considerations more (1) occasionally eat more does not matter, often relaxed can not. In some special occasions, the food variety to increase some, the amount of food occasionally relaxed some is not bad, but in the next meal must immediately return to the normal diet. Regular relaxation of diet control can lead to weight gain and blood sugar fluctuations. During the Spring Festival, some patients eat less staple food or even not at all, and replace it with high-fat, high-protein meat, which not only increases the burden on the digestive system, leading to bloating and other discomfort, but also causes blood sugar to rise. (2) The meat and vegetables should be properly matched, and the main food must be eaten at every meal. This is the key to blood sugar control. The main food should still be easy to digest food such as coarse grains, rice cakes, soup dumplings and other glutinous rice type indigestible staple food should be eaten as little as possible. To resist the temptation of snacks, try to eat less peanuts, melon seeds, walnuts, pine nuts, hazelnuts, pistachios, almonds and other nuts containing more oil and higher energy snacks. For patients with stable conditions and no complications can drink alcohol appropriately, low white wine, dry red and dry white wine are available, the daily amount is generally mastered at about 25 grams (half a tael). When drinking alcohol, it is important to eat the main food in time to prevent hypoglycemia. In addition, many sugar-free foods actually contain high levels of energy or sugar and must be used with caution. In short, during the Spring Festival, we have to tighten the strings of diet control, control the mouth, once eat more timely adjustment, to properly reduce the daily staples and meat dishes to ensure stable blood sugar. 3, no matter how to move during the Spring Festival will be more or less than the usual more food, as long as pay attention to appropriate exercise, blood sugar can still be well controlled. Patients who have difficulty with their legs and feet can perform activities such as hand shaking therapy, waist twisting and head shaking, and body patting, which can increase heat consumption, stimulate insulin secretion, enhance insulin sensitivity, and promote blood circulation, which is very beneficial to regulating blood sugar and stabilizing the condition. It is not recommended that patients should wait until the sun comes out and exercise 1 to 2 hours after meals. 4, travel out to prevent frostbite Diabetic patients have poor blood circulation, more likely to frostbite, if you go out or travel during the Spring Festival, you must pay attention to cold and warm, especially pay attention to protect the hands and feet, ears and other end parts. Shoes must be loose and warm, avoid walking for too long in new shoes to prevent foot injuries. When you go out, it is best to have a companion with you and bring some candy or other things with you so that you can save yourself in time in case of hypoglycemia. 5, unauthorized discontinuation of medication is not allowed to break the superstition of not seeing a doctor in the first month and not taking medication in the New Year, and never stop taking medication during the holiday season.
