Kidney cancer stage IV generally refers to kidney cancer stage IV, which is basically incurable for patients. Kidney cancer is a malignant tumor originated from the epithelial system of urinary tubules in kidney parenchyma. According to TNM staging, stage IV kidney cancer belongs to advanced kidney cancer, which means that the malignant tumor cells in the patient’s body have spread and metastasized, and involved and damaged to the peripheral or distant organs and tissues. The later the stage, the worse the prognosis of kidney cancer patients. For patients with stage IV kidney cancer, individuals cannot be completely cured of the disease even if they receive standardized treatment, so advanced kidney cancer cannot be cured; stage IV kidney cancer is mainly treated by medication, which can also be combined with the use of tumor-reducing nephrectomy or palliative nephrectomy. However, no matter which stage the disease is in, kidney cancer patients should receive regular treatment, which can effectively improve the prognosis of the disease and the quality of life.
