What to do in the early stages of invasive breast cancer

Early stage invasive carcinoma of breast can receive comprehensive treatment such as surgery, radiotherapy, endocrinology and targeting in accordance with the specific conditions of patients. 1. Surgery: Surgery is the main treatment method for early invasive breast cancer. Commonly used clinical treatments include breast-conserving surgery, simple mastectomy, radical mastectomy and so on. 2. Radiotherapy: if the patient receives breast conserving treatment for early invasive breast cancer, it is recommended to receive radiotherapy appropriately after surgery to reduce the recurrence rate of postoperative invasive breast cancer. 3. Endocrine therapy: if there is estrogen receptor or progesterone receptor positive in breast cancer cells, endocrine therapy can be considered. These patients have higher sensitivity to hormone treatment. By regulating hormone secretion, the division and proliferation of tumor cells can be slowed down. Commonly used therapeutic drugs include raloxifene, exemestane, anastrozole and so on. 4. Targeted therapy: If there is HER2 positivity, targeting drugs, such as lapatinib, trastuzumab, etc. can be considered. Clinically, some patients may also need other treatments for early invasive breast cancer such as chemotherapy. It is recommended to go to the hospital and receive treatment as prescribed by the doctor.
