Will scar growths go away on their own?

Scar growth does not go away on its own.
Scar hyperplasia is the formation of prominent, irregularly shaped scar tissue that occurs after a skin injury has healed and the skin is still repairing itself and gradually undergoes hyperplasia.
Scar progress can be divided into three stages, namely, proliferation, regression and maturity.
1. Hyperplasia: generally lasts about half a year. Scars in this period may have localized swelling, accompanied by pain and itching.
2. Hypoplasia: After the hyperplasia phase, the scar can enter the hypoplasia phase which lasts for about one year. At this stage, the scar tissue is not only thickened and thickened, the color changes from red to brown, and the pain and itching symptoms are significantly reduced.
3. Mature stage: the scar stops proliferating, but the scar is still higher than the surrounding tissue and has a clear demarcation line with the surrounding skin.
Scar proliferation will not subside on its own, and even in the remission stage, the scar can only subside partially. If you want to improve the appearance of scars more significantly, you can use surgical excision and laser treatment.
