Effects of metoclopramide

Metoclopramide has antiemetic effects and is mainly used for: 1. symptomatic treatment of nausea, vomiting, belching, dyspepsia, gastric distention, hyperacidity, etc. caused by various etiologies. 2. reflux esophagitis, bile reflux gastritis, functional gastric retention, gastric prolapse, etc. 3. delayed residual emptying, delayed gastric emptying after vagotomy. 4. gastroparesis in diabetes mellitus, uremia, scleroderma and other collagen disorders caused by gastric emptying disorder. Its use: Generally adults are 5-10mg per time, 3 times a day. Its adverse effects: more common are drowsiness, drowsiness, restlessness, fatigue, weakness, also a small number of symptoms such as constipation, rash, diarrhea.
