Can patients with asymptomatic meningiomas play badminton?

Asymptomatic meningioma patients can usually live a normal life and can play badminton, but be careful not to over exercise. Meningiomas are mostly benign tumors, usually grow slowly, patients have a long course of disease, and the onset of the disease is generally more insidious. Some studies show that the average time for early symptoms of meningiomas to appear is about 2.5 years. For asymptomatic meningioma patients, their life is generally not restricted, and they can play sports such as badminton, but they should pay attention not to over exercise. When clinical symptoms of meningioma appear (e.g. headache, epilepsy, etc.), timely treatment is usually required to prevent further compression of brain tissues and nerves by meningioma. Asymptomatic meningioma patients are advised to undergo regular review in order to understand the progress of the disease.
