What to do when beans get stuck in your nostrils

If a bean gets stuck in the nostril, you can try to remove it by pressing one nostril and blowing your nose; if that doesn’t work, then we recommend that you go to the hospital in time to have the bean removed through nasal endoscopy.
Children around the age of 3 years old are prone to accidentally inserting foreign objects such as beans into their nostrils, forming a foreign body in the nasal cavity. Children who have a foreign body in their nose may experience nasal congestion, runny nose, and nasal discomfort, and if left undetected for a long period of time, it may even lead to infection and the formation of nasal stones.
If parents find that a child has a bean stuck in his or her nose, they can try to hold down one nostril and blow the nose, which may dislodge the bean through the impact of airflow. If this does not help, it is advisable to go to the hospital in time for a detailed examination of the nasal cavity under a nasal endoscope and removal of the foreign body.
If the beans are stuck in the nostrils and cannot be effectively removed by yourself, it is recommended to go to the hospital in time to have them removed.
