Sudden vomiting, how to treat

The cause of sudden vomiting should be treated accordingly. There are many common causes, such as acute gastroenteritis, acute cholecystitis, cerebral hemorrhage and so on. Commonly used treatments such as general treatment, omeprazole, norfloxacin, mannitol and other medications and surgical treatment.
1. Acute gastroenteritis: inflammation stimulates the vagus nerve of gastrointestinal tract causing vomiting symptoms. Acute stage can be rehydration treatment, oral rehydration salts or intravenous rehydration. Eat small, frequent meals, and those with severe vomiting need to fast. Acupuncture and acupressure can improve the symptoms. Commonly used drugs include adsorbents such as montelukast; microbial agents such as bifidobacteria; antibiotics such as norfloxacin; antiemetic drugs such as metoclopramide.

Give anti-infective and analgesic treatment, commonly used drugs such as antispasmodic and analgesic drugs such as atropine; anti-inflammatory choleretic drugs such as ursodeoxycholic acid; antibiotics such as sodium cefotaxime, metronidazole and so on. Severe cases can be treated with surgery.
3. Cerebral hemorrhage: Vomiting symptoms occur due to elevated cranial pressure. Attention should be paid to the monitoring of vital signs, oxygen. Commonly used drugs include hemostatic drugs such as aminocaproic acid; dehydrating agents such as mannitol to reduce intracranial pressure; neuroprotective agents such as methylcobalamin. Severe cases need surgical treatment such as craniotomy, minimally invasive surgery.
