Pain on the right side of the belly button may be urinary stones or appendicitis. If it is a urinary stone, it usually occurs in the right side of the kidney as well as the right side of the ureter, and the pain is not very obvious in the early stage, presenting a vague pain, distension and soreness. If the stone is discharged downward, it will lead to renal colic, and the patient’s pain is very obvious, sometimes in a flexed position. If the stone damages the mucosa of the ureter, it will lead to blood in the urine, or urine occult blood is found to be positive when examined. Urologic ultrasonography can clarify the situation, and usually can use extracorporeal lithotripsy or ureteroscopic holmium laser lithotripsy. If the pain is caused by appendicitis, it may be manifested in the right side of the navel, mainly caused by bacterial infection, but also may be caused by the obstruction of the appendiceal lumen, such as appendiceal fecal stone can also cause appendicitis. Need to check the blood routine, usually elevated white blood cells, abdominal CT can find the appendix swelling, periappendiceal oozing, etc., after the diagnosis is clear, it is recommended to perform laparoscopic appendectomy.
