What’s wrong with the itchy face that feels like ringworm?

Itchy face that feels like ringworm is a condition that may be associated with itching on the face along with dryness of the face and the occurrence of localized scaling. This condition is usually seen in seborrheic dermatitis of the face, especially in some dry seborrheic dermatitis, where these symptoms occur because of a certain amount of flushing and scaling on the face. Of course, it is also possible that a real fungal infection has developed on the face and ringworm has formed, so that a certain erythema based on scales with clear borders is present, along with certain itching symptoms. In this case, antifungal treatment is needed, and generally topical antifungal drugs such as terbinafine or miconazole nitrate can be used topically for treatment, and oral antihistamines are also needed to stop the itching.
