Usually, gastric ulcer refers to a localized inflammatory defect formed when the gastric mucosa is attacked by gastric acid and pepsin, with an imbalance in defense and digestion of its own mucosa. It can be treated according to the cause and symptoms, such as using drugs to inhibit gastric acid secretion, protect gastric mucosa and eradicate Helicobacter pylori (Hp). 1.Symptomatic treatment: (1) Inhibit gastric acid secretion: such as omeprazole, lansoprazole, ranitidine, etc., which can inhibit gastric mucosal cells from secreting gastric acid and reduce the stimulation of the ulcer site. (2) Protection of gastric mucosa: it can be divided into bismuth and antacid, bismuth commonly used bismuth, such as bismuth potassium citrate, bismuth pectin, etc. This kind of medicine can be in the form of colloid in the acidic solution, which can be overlaid on the surface of the ulcer, so as to block the invasive damage of gastric acid and pepsin on the mucosa. Antacids can directly neutralize gastric acid, and the effect is fast, reduce the stimulation of gastric acid on the mucosa, commonly used antacids are aluminum hydroxide, sodium bicarbonate, magnesium aluminum carbonate and so on. 2. Treatment of the cause: Eradication of Helicobacter pylori (Hp) infection: Hp infection can destroy the integrity of the gastric mucosa, which can cause erosion and ulceration after long-term gastric acid erosion. Treatment of Hp infection is currently advocated quadruple therapy, i.e. 1 proton pump inhibitor + 2 antibiotics + 1 bismuth agent. Commonly used antibiotics are clarithromycin, amoxicillin, metronidazole and so on. Commonly used bismuth agents are bismuth potassium citrate, bismuth pectin and so on. In addition, gastric ulcer can also be seen in smoking, diet and other causes, it is recommended that patients go to the hospital in time, under the guidance of the doctor to use drugs for treatment.
