Do you have to take medication for inflammatory lung nodules?

Most of the inflammatory pulmonary nodules should be treated with oral anti-infective drugs, and their inflammatory nodules may be gradually absorbed through effective anti-infective. For example, if the inflammatory nodule is caused by bacterial, viral, mycoplasma, tuberculosis bacillus, or even fungal infection, then sensitive anti-infective drugs should be selected for treatment through their clinical features and auxiliary examinations, for example, oral antibiotics for bacterial cases, oral anti-tuberculosis drugs for tuberculosis bacillus cases, and oral anti-fungal drugs for fungal infections. Through the above treatments, it usually takes 1-2 months or even longer for pneumonic nodules to gradually absorb. However, it should be noted that some of the inflammatory nodules may have localized calcification and fibrotic changes around them. At this time, oral medication is not needed for such old inflammatory nodules, and only regular follow-up of lung CT is needed.
