What are total flavonoids?

Total Flavonoids are a class of natural flavonoids, the main components of which are flavonoids and flavonols. As we all know, the main cause of human aging is related to free radicals in the body. Total flavonoids are good at eliminating free radicals as well as having a powerful antioxidant effect, which can activate cells to a certain extent, thus slowing down the aging process. In terms of the blood system, it also protects the walls of blood vessels from damage. Total flavonoids also have antibacterial effects, including gram-positive and negative bacteria. Total flavonoids are mostly found in dicotyledonous plants, and are produced from glucose in the vegetation through the two pathways of manganic acid and acetic acid-malonic acid to generate intermediates, which eventually become total flavonoids.
