HCG is less than 2.39mIU/mL and you are not currently pregnant. Generally HCG will rise after pregnancy, probably above 10mIU/mL, because the standard is different in each place, some are above 10mIU/mL or 20mIU/mL to indicate pregnancy. Now if there is a delay in menstruation, you can check again every other day, if the HCG is greater than normal, it means that the possibility of pregnancy is very high, if there is just a simple delay in menstruation, HCG will not be elevated. If you don’t have your period after a week, it’s best to go back to the hospital for a review, such as ultrasound to check the thickness of the uterine lining and to see if you’re going to have your period soon. If pregnancy is ruled out, oral progesterone can also be taken to promote menstruation, and HCG needs to be checked regularly.
