How many years can I live with blind cancer treatment?

The number of years you can live after cancer treatment is related to the stage of cancer. Ileal cancer should be called cancer of the ileocecal region, to be precise, it should be cancer occurring in the cecum, and the survival years of this cancer are related to the time of early detection. If cecum cancer is detected early, it is an early stage cancer, it can be resected by colonoscopy and ESD, i.e. submucosal resection, which can remove the tumor cleanly and generally will not metastasize and recur, because early stage cancer has no lymph node metastasis and distant metastasis, the effect is better and the 5-year survival rate can reach 90%. If the tumor is in the middle or progressive stage, surgery is recommended if it can be done. After surgical resection, post-operative chemotherapy is needed to prolong the patient’s survival time, and the 5-year survival rate is about 60%. If the tumor is in advanced stage, iatrogenic cancer has been accompanied by liver metastasis or lung metastasis and other distant metastasis, surgery cannot be done, but only through comprehensive treatment, such as chemotherapy, targeted therapy or local treatment, including the intervention of liver metastases, etc. The survival time is relatively short, and the general 5-year survival rate is about 20%-30%.
