Symptoms of nosebleeds when washing the face indicate that there may be unhealed bleeding spots in the anterior part of the nasal cavity. Since the anterior lower part of the nasal septum has a rich network of blood vessels, when subjected to trauma and inflammatory infection, it can lead to the rupture of the over-exposed blood vessels, resulting in the symptoms of nasal bleeding. Therefore, it is recommended to first perfect nasal endoscopy to observe the whole nasal cavity from front to back to find the bleeding site. If there is a definite bleeding site, electrocoagulation can be used to stop the bleeding or nasal tamponade. If there is no obvious bleeding site, saline can be used to rinse the nasal cavity to keep the mucous membrane moist while clearing the secretions to promote the edema to subside and facilitate further recovery of its function. If there are organic lesions such as deviated nasal septum and nasal polyps, timely CT examination of the sinuses should be completed to clarify the extent and severity of the lesions, and a personalized surgical plan should be formulated according to the examination results.
