What’s wrong with small red blood spots raised on the skin?

Small red dots protruding from the skin may be cherry angiomas. Cherry angiomas are usually seen in the elderly, often beginning in early adulthood, and can also be seen in adolescents. The number of lesions increases with the age of the patient, and they most commonly develop on the trunk and proximal extremities, less frequently on the scalp, face, and distal extremities, and generally do not develop on the hands and feet. The rash is mainly manifested as bright red or cherry-colored papules, with different sizes, usually with a diameter of 1-5mm, gradually increasing to about 1-2mm above the surface of the skin as elevated hemispherical damage, usually soft and spongy when pressed, and sometimes irregularly shaped. There are also a small number of hemangiomas surrounded by a halo of anemia, usually patients have no conscious symptoms and have multiple. Laser, cryotherapy or electrocoagulation can be used for treatment, and usually there are no conscious symptoms that need to be treated.
