More period after IUD release, i.e. more menstrual flow after IUD release, may be related to intrauterine infection, stimulation of IUD and abnormal position of IUD, or it may be less related to IUD release, and is caused by endometrial lesions.
1. Intrauterine infection: Increased menstrual flow due to intrauterine tissue damage caused by surgical operation or postoperative bacterial infection.
2. Stimulation and abnormal position of the IUD: the IUD as a foreign body stimulates the endometrium, and some patients may have excessive menstrual bleeding due to downward displacement or partial embedding of the IUD.
The heavy menstrual flow after IUD release may not be related to IUD release, it is caused by endometrial lesions, such as endometrial polyps, uterine fibroids and other diseases that thicken the endometrium, which will lead to excessive menstrual blood, and it has little to do with the birth control ring.
There may be other factors that may cause excessive menstrual bleeding after the IUD is put in place, and it is recommended that the patient go to a regular hospital in time to find out the cause of the excessive menstrual bleeding.
