When a woman has a menstrual period with large pieces of flesh-like tissue discharged, the following three possibilities are considered: First, a woman has a menstrual period with large pieces of endometrial exfoliation. The endometrial exfoliation will be mixed with blood and uterine vaginal mucus discharge, so there will be large pieces of flesh-like tissue discharged, which is normal. The clinical manifestation of menstruation in women is caused by endometrial exfoliation. Secondly, patients with small endometrial polyps or submucosal fibroids are discharged together with the exfoliated endometrium during menstruation, and large pieces of fleshy tissue are discharged in menstrual blood without discomfort, which may be accompanied by heavy menstrual flow and prolonged menstrual period. Thirdly, when patients have endometrial tumor-like lesions, the tumor tissues proliferate abnormally and become necrotic and infected, and large pieces of tissues are discharged, with foul odor, accompanied by abdominal pain and discomfort, high volume and prolonged menstruation.
