A 3cm cyst in a 16 year old uterus can be managed by surgical treatment.
There is no clinical diagnosis of uterine cysts, it should refer to cervical cysts. 3cm cervical cysts are already very large and may compress the bladder, urethra and rectum, which may cause frequent urination, urgency of urination, dysuria, difficulty in defecation and constipation. If it is combined with an infection there may be abnormal leukorrhea, such as purulent and foul smelling.
Surgical excision is usually recommended. 16 year old girls usually undergo simple cystectomy, after which if malignant tendency is suspected, pathologic examination is needed to determine whether further treatment is needed.
It is recommended that 16-year-old patients with 3cm cysts in the uterus go to the hospital for relevant examinations to clarify the cause of the disease and then do treatment for the condition.
