What is the cause of cryptorchidism in newborns

Cryptorchidism is a congenital abnormality, which is mainly caused by the incomplete descent of the testicles. Most children with cryptorchidism have their testicles descending into the scrotum after birth, while a few children with cryptorchidism have their testicles descending into the scrotum gradually within six months after birth. If the testicles still do not descend into the scrotum six months after birth, it is cryptorchidism, and patients with cryptorchidism need active treatment. The common causes of incomplete testicular descent are as follows: 1. Abnormal testicular lead, which is needed for the descent of the testicle. 2. If the testicle of cryptorchidism is large in size, it will be easily blocked in the inguinal canal, the external or inguinal canal during descent, thus causing incomplete testicular descent. 3. 4. The presence of retroperitoneal inflammation during pregnancy, which causes adhesions between the testicles and the abdominal cavity, can easily cause incomplete testicular descent.
