I. Initial consultation
When we first saw the patient, the patient had a healthy face, no painful face, and a relatively good mental state. The patient reported that two months ago she had a rash and edema on both feet with itching and local scaling symptoms. The patient’s mother had urticaria and had recently stayed up late at night due to her work and was under a lot of stress. The patient’s blood test showed an increase in eosinophilia and serum eosinophilic cationic protein, which led to the diagnosis of eczema.
II. Treatment
After diagnosis, I informed the patient that he could be treated with antihistamines and hormonal drugs. The patient agreed, so I prescribed antihistamines, desloratadine tablets, to help relieve the itching symptoms, along with hormonal drugs, halomethasone cream and dextran cream, to help reduce the rash and scaling symptoms and relieve edema. In addition, we should also pay attention to cleaning the skin with warm water as much as possible, avoid stimulating the skin with hot and cold water, apply moisturizing cream after cleaning the skin, and also pay attention to adequate rest and combination of work and rest.
Third, the effect of treatment
The patient’s skin rash and itching were significantly relieved after medication. On the 3rd day of treatment, the itchy symptoms were reduced, the rash symptoms were improved, and the accompanying scaling symptoms disappeared. On the 5th day of drug treatment, the patient’s pruritus disappeared completely, and only a few marks remained on the rash, so the treatment effect was relatively satisfactory. By cooperating with daily care, the patient’s discomfort disappeared completely at the time of review, and the skin was smooth again at the time of examination, indicating a relatively good prognosis.
IV. Notes
Seeing the patient’s symptoms relieved by medication, I felt happy for him from the bottom of my heart, while the patient should also pay attention to the following points in daily life.
