Gastric cancer is a malignant tumor of gastric epithelial tissues, and there are no obvious symptoms in early stage of gastric cancer, but the symptoms in late stage are more obvious. The three main types of symptoms to be alerted before the death of advanced gastric cancer are: 1. Pain: Advanced gastric cancer often causes pain in the upper abdomen, which is often unbearable and sometimes radiates to the waist, back and shoulders, etc. Pain relieving drugs can be consumed to relieve pain; 3. Vomiting blood and blood in stool: vomiting blood or blood in stool is a common symptom of advanced gastric cancer, which needs to be stopped immediately to avoid excessive blood loss and life-threatening shock, and blood transfusion if necessary. Patients with advanced gastric cancer are prone to pressure injury due to long-term bed rest, so they should keep their skin clean and dry and turn over regularly to avoid pressure injury causing infection and reduce patients’ discomfort.
