Which acupuncture point to moxibustion for rhinitis

Rhinitis belongs to the category of “congested nose” and “cold” in Chinese medicine, and can be treated by moxibustion of Fengchi point and Yingxiang point.
1. Fengchi point: belongs to the foot Shaoyang bile meridian, located in the depression between the sternocleidomastoid muscle and the upper end of the trapezius muscle. It has the effect of clearing the nasal orifices and is mainly used to treat nasal congestion and headache.
2. Yingxiang point: belonging to the hand Yangming large intestine meridian, located next to the midpoint of the outer edge of the nose, in the middle of the nasolabial groove. It has the efficacy of dispersing wind-heat and clearing nasal orifices, and is mainly used for treating nasal congestion, clear mucus, epistaxis (nosebleed) and other diseases.
Rhinitis can be treated with moxibustion using points such as Fengchi and Yingxiang to clear the nasal orifices, clear the head, and evacuate wind-heat.
