Can stage 3 moderately differentiated colon cancer be cured?

Stage 3 moderately differentiated adenocarcinoma of colon cancer can obtain a five-year survival rate of about 40%~50% after treatment, i.e. a certain clinical cure rate. Colon cancer is a common malignant tumor, which can be caused by a variety of factors, such as heredity, gene mutation and so on. Moderately differentiated is the judgment of the degree of differentiation of cancer cells made according to pathological examination, which represents general malignancy and general prognosis. stage 3 represents a variety of situations, such as the tumor has invaded the submucosal layer, but has not infiltrated the intrinsic muscular layer; the occurrence of 1-3 regional lymph node metastasis; and the absence of distant metastasis. According to the condition of stage 3 moderately differentiated colon cancer, neoadjuvant chemotherapy, surgical resection, postoperative radiotherapy and other therapies can be actively treated in this period, and the five-year survival rate varies from 40% to 50% after treatment. It is suggested that patients should adjust their mood and actively cooperate with the treatment to improve the quality of survival and prolong the survival period.
