Lactose intolerance is characterized by abdominal distension, hyperactive bowel sounds, intestinal colic, diarrhea, nausea and vomiting.
Lactose intolerance is a series of gastrointestinal manifestations in which the lactose in food cannot be fully digested and absorbed by lactase in the small intestine and remains in the intestinal lumen, resulting in increased osmotic pressure in the intestinal lumen and an increase in the volume of food residue.
Common manifestations include abdominal distension, hyperactive bowel sounds, intestinal colic, diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, or slowing of gastrointestinal peristalsis, constipation, and so on. The severity of symptoms is related to the amount of lactose-containing food, and some patients consume small amounts of lactose-containing food without obvious symptoms.
Lactose intolerance, repeated diarrhea may appear water electrolyte disorders and other complications, attention to timely hospital treatment.
