Perianal abscess and hemorrhoids are two conditions that are both very common anal conditions. A perianal abscess is caused by an infection of the anal glands and is an acute purulent infection; a hemorrhoid is caused by the subluxation of the anal cushion and varicose veins, and the two have different mechanisms and different treatments. Once a perianal abscess is diagnosed, it should be treated promptly to avoid further development of the condition. The most common method is to do an incision and drainage, and then to do anal fistula surgery when the abscess slowly forms after the acute phase. The actual hemorrhoids can be operated without surgery, no symptoms need to be treated, when symptoms appear timely and symptomatic conservative treatment. If the symptoms are very serious and even affect the quality of life, then you should consider going to a regular hospital’s anorectal department and having surgery after completing the relevant tests.
