Symptoms of Protein Allergy in Infants



Symptoms of protein allergy in infants mainly include skin symptoms, gastrointestinal symptoms and respiratory symptoms. However, the symptoms of protein allergy in infants are not exactly the same due to the differences between individual infants.

1. Skin symptoms: protein allergy in infants can cause congestion of the skin and mucous membranes, resulting in redness of the skin, or the appearance of red rashes or red bumps, but also congestion and edema of the lips and mouth, and some infants may develop urticaria or angioneurotic edema.

2. Gastrointestinal symptoms: usually nausea and vomiting, abdominal pain and bloating, diarrhea, allergies can cause gastrointestinal bleeding in severe cases.

3. Respiratory symptoms: such as coughing, wheezing, sneezing, runny nose, nasal congestion, and so on, and if it is more serious, it may even cause respiratory difficulties.

4. Other symptoms: such as fever, hematuria, proteinuria and so on.
