The best time for infant attachment ear surgery

There is no clinical evidence on the optimal time to remove an attached ear, which generally affects cosmetic appearance only and does not interfere with normal development.
The earliest time for removal of a baby’s adnexa is usually when the baby is 2 to 3 months old. Removal is not recommended when the child is younger, and it is usually best to wait until the child is older before taking the infant for surgery.
It is usually recommended when the child is between 5 and 8 years old to provide the best results, and is closely related to the child’s social behavior and mental health, which can be decided in conjunction with the child’s opinion on whether or not to proceed with the surgery.
If there is such a malformation of the secondary ear, you should go to the hospital. The appropriate examination should be done to clarify whether there are other malformations of the middle ear, facial nerve or inner ear, and whether there are abnormalities of the hearing function.
Parents are advised to bring their children to the hospital and ask for information.
